His track record of successful technology ventures include co-founding and serving as CEO and Chairman at Abine, a leading online privacy company; and founding and serving as President, CTO, and Chairman of DataPower (acquired by IBM), a provider of network hardware powered by patented compiler technology. He is a board member, investor and advisor for a number of startups in the energy, semiconductor and software infrastructure sectors. Eugene has written articles for numerous tech publications, and is a frequent speaker at technology conferences. Eugene earned a BSEE from MIT.

Itzik is a co-founder of Gizmox and served as the VP of R&D until transitioning to the role of CTO in 2013. Prior to Gizmox, he was the development manager at IFN Solutions (FileNet Technologies Israel) and held senior developer and technologist roles in IFN and Deltathree. He was also a lecturer Hadassah College of Technology in Jerusalem. Itzik has extensive experience with application security, enterprise application development, development tools and methodologies, and software modernization strategies. He earned a B.A and an M.Sc in Computer Science from premier academic colleges in Israel.
